What was the most challenging aspect of this unit? Explain.
-The written description. I'm not a very artistic person and I am not good at describing art. It was difficult but I managed to pull through.
What worked well for you in the research project? What helped you learn?
-The research worked well because it was easy to find things about my painting and its artist. Nothing helped me learn.
What didn't work well for you in this research project? What would have made the project better?
-The blogging. We could have just given you a daily update on what we were doing by speaking with you.
Critique the overall human for in art research project. Should this project be taught in ninth grade Humanities English? Why or why not?
-No it shouldn't be taught. I don't see what we gain from it. Maybe I will learn what some people in my class think about a specific piece of art but I really don't see how that will help me in the future.

Sixth post
I have finished my written description of my piece. I started my power point and it is going well. I hope to be done with it soon. My power point will inclue a picture of the piece. It will also include some facts about the painter and his portrait.

Fifth post
I have completed my bibliography and just have to make a hard copy of it. Now I need to make my power point. I have a rough draft for my analysis. I do think that you should make the presentation 5-7 minutes. It would not be unfair at all.

Fourth post
Today I studied about my piece some more. It is oil on canvas and 45 by 61 inches big. Right now the painting is on display at the Kunstithistorisches museum in Vienna. I think this painting was made to show humans ignorance, but I'm not positive and will have to do more research. My next step will be to research the paintings meaning. The only question I have was why did Pieter Bruegel paint this picture?
Third post
I didn't really narrow my choices down as I have already chosen a piece. I learned that the artist, Pieter Bruegel, was born in Breda, Netherlands. On Friday I will need to research more, take more notes, and maybe start my description.
